How does LVNT Managed WiFi work?
Our customizable network functions similarly to hotspots provided by Starbucks or McDonalds, with a slight difference for login. First, users would choose your event’s WiFi, this launches a pre-roll video Ad, and then opens the login portal where they complete access. We can customize this by allowing our clients to choose between Instagram, phone number, or email address for authentication, and afterwards fans are redirected to the event’s website or one of your socials.
What makes WiFi different with your company?
Wireless access, like most things, has levels of complexity. Likely, your current wifi setup cannot withstand the bandwidth or usage demands of hundreds or thousands of devices. This is because it wasn’t built or configured to do so. What is fixed wireless?
Fixed wireless (aka point-to-point or microwave wireless) is an ideal technology for providing primary or secondary bandwidth at events. It can be set up on short notice, is non-invasive, and does not require long-term commitments.
How does fixed wireless provide my event with internet?
Through fixed wireless technology, we are able to transmit bandwidth over-the-air to your event location from a nearby office building or our mobile data center. A non-penetrating 2-foot antenna is typically installed on your roof or affixed to a temporary tripod mount. From this antenna, the circuit is routed via an ethernet cable to access points placed strategically where needed at your event.
